Styling Blockquotes

I’ve seen a lot of web designers style their blockquotes so there are two ‘quote’ images around their text. I decided to search around to see how they did that. An example of what I’m talking about is here.

I stumbled upon Simon’s great tutorial on Styling Blockquotes. The original cSS code was written by Nick Boalch. Thank you both!

    hey thanks for posting this – i ran across simon’s article just the other day and was set to implement it but had no luck hunting around for the PNG files (missed the link to the sample page, for some reason, and the example in the tutorial itself is just a screenshot). i castigated myself for being a lazy ass and not making my own images and now look – i can remain a lazy ass thanks to your post. :)
