Professional Web Programmer Hired

I was talking to my friend Adam, and he told me this…

Adam: My boss hired this guy today who is a “professional” web programer. I asked him what language…
Adam: He said, “whatever FrontPage makes.”
Daynah: LOL
Adam: I made a small PHP script that made about 4000 randomly colored boxes.
Adam: He was blown away.

heh, just too funny. I honestly think Frontpage is a thing of the past. I’ve only used it once or twice because my teacher insisted me too. But I did end up hard-coding everything in Notepad instead. hehe

Even my coworkers don’t use Frontpage anymore. They currently use our in-house content management system which is much more customizable. ;)

We hired him as a research intern… Definitely not as a programmer!

Try Editplus. It’s a great program.

hehe, well that’s not what you said!

I use Homesite to create my website. ;)

    Oh god, no!! ;)

I guess I forgot to mention that part. It would be terrible for my boss to hire another guy to compete with me. (I’m very proud of our website at the moment…)

I know a 8 yeahr old who can code better than frontpage…at least his pages render properly!!!!

Well now that I’ve read the comments I suppose I should take down my post, you know, journalistic integrity. Oh wait, I don’t have any! LOL.

Regardless, my point remains the same – Frontpage Sucks
