Ouu la la, my new Canon EOS 40D

This just came in the mail today! My newest gadget is now the Canon EOS 40D. I absolutely love it. The battery was still being charged, so I haven’t done any test shots with it yet. But I’m very excited to use it for the next wedding that I’m attending!

Yes, we’re a Canon family. That’s the Canon EOS 40D and Canon Rebel XT sitting side-by-side. Photo was taken by a Canon Powershot SD 700 IS. ;)

    I got one of these myself 2 weeks ago and I’m loving it. It’s got a really nice heft to it, and I love the larger screen and clear readouts. It’s a replacement for my 350D (same as the XT). Look forward to seeing what you do with it!

Although for me I have my finger on the trigger (in november) for the next generation Canon EOS 5D Mark II 21.1 MegaPixels BABY! (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/583953-REG/Canon_2764B003_EOS_5D_Mark_II.html) Hey, what lens did you get with the 40D? I can’t wait to see your snap-shots. This camera will definitely take your pictures to different level.
