I always feel down when I see this cute image. But I’m sure Twitter is just making itself better and better. :)

Leo’s Followers
April 23, 2008 by daynah

Here’s a funny story if you’re not following Leo Laporte on Twitter.
Last night, he told his son Hank he had so-and-so many followers on Twitter. His son did not believe him. So Leo posts his son’s cell number on Twitter and asked his followers to text Hank.
To make a short story even shorter, let’s just say Hank’s cellphone is non-functional. Leo DoS-ed his own son. LOL Next time, listen to dad, or he will DoS you.

Word on the Tweets
This was the message that Neal sent me a few days ago. He’s one funny man. I had to put this quote somewhere.
Word on the tweets is that anyone with more than 200 followers isn’t always showing up in timelines. -Neal Campbell
If you’re still having problems with lost Twitter posts or posts from people you follow not showing up (this should have been fixed as of last night.. but if not…), try doing this. Many thanks to Colin for figuring it out.
On a side note, why do I get a 500 error on Mashable.com in Firefox, but it works find in MSIE??

SocialThing!
April 8, 2008 by daynah

I just signed up for SocialThing! and I love it so far. The concept is simple really. It’s a website that helps you organize your digital life all in one place.
Socialthing! makes it easy to see all the things your friends are doing. It’s a news feed for every site that you use in one place.
It’s like an RSS reader for everything and anything you and your friends do online. So far, they have Facebook, Flickr, LiveJournal, Pownce, Twitter, and Vimeo connected. There’s also an area where you can vote for what websites they should work on connecting to next. I voted for all the apps I use.
I really love the concept, and I hope this takes off well!

Spaz – a Twitter Client
March 17, 2008 by daynah
Filed under Software and Web Apps

I just installed Spaz, a client for Twitter on the Adobe Air platform. I love it so far. I’ve been using the client for Pownce before and was hoping there’d be one for Twitter. Well, I guess my wish came true. :)
Just a hint, turn down your volume when you first install it. Mine were up pretty high, so it scared me! :D
