Reflection Theme

My friend Stacee created this beautiful layout and I helped her port it over as a WordPress Theme. It’s called Reflection, Version 1.0. What do you think? Her artwork is beautiful huh? :) If you like the theme, you can download it here.

My friend keeps telling me the image looks like me. No, no, I haven’t modeled underwear before, but I can start! haha Although, now that she mentioned it, the hair does look like mine.

You can test out the theme here.

Update: If you downloaded the theme earlier today (before 9:30am PST 3/23/3005) please redownload it again or fix the small CSS error I had.

In style.css, in the “main” class, change the width to: “width: 50%;” instead of “width: 50%px;” Thanks! That’ll fix the error in MSIE.

    That’s beautiful! It’s a bit wide for my screen but I’m going to make it available in a skin switcher once I figure out how to make one of those in WP.

    Hi, I like this template, but I was wondering where the ‘get_header()’ and other functions are being called from, as I cannot get the template to work correctly with the current index.php provided.     Have you upgraded to WordPress 1.5? If so, you just drop all the files in the wp-content/themes directory, then activate the theme.

    wondering why the image didn’t work? i tried it with other browsers as well but it won’t. then i tried to locate the file (http://www.blog.meangurl.net/wp-content/themes/reflections/images/reflections.jpg) but it says it’s forbidden.

    a few notes:
    - it’s already in version 1.5

    CHMOD all these files to 777. That should fix it.

    i already CHMOD all the files under images too 777 but still it won’t show up. i also tried to CHMOD the directory images from 755 to 777 but i still have the same prob so i CHMOD it back to 755.

    or should i reinstall the theme?

    Yea, you could try deleting all the files and then uploading them again. How are you uploading the files?

    i think i’ll reinstall wordpress the loooooong way…

    Ahhh… why not manually upload the themes? I think that 5 minutes installation will install them as the wrong user. Therefore, you’lll have to contact your host to CHOWN (change owner) instead.

    The easiest way is to just upload all the files into wp-content/themes. Go activate them in wordpress, and you’re done.

    I really love this theme, but I need the image to say the name of my own blog. Is there a blank banner I could download somewhere? And, if there is, what’s the name of the font used? I think it’s just perfect. Thanks!
