Canon Powershot SD300

Yay, just bought a new camera! I seem to only buy cameras when they get discountinued. heh But that’s when they’re the cheapest!
The Canon Powershot Sd300 now for $255. If you have any coupons, you can stack them on. I had a $35 off $200 coupon. :D So with the money I saved, I added on a 1 gig card for another $63 (minus $15 rebate). Altogether, it was slightly over $300. Not too bad. Now I gotta buy an extra battery. :D
Just to note, the quality of the SD300 is better than the S400, even though they’re comparable and both 4 mp. And after reading reviews, the sd300 also takes better photos than the sd400. The additional 1 megapixel really only adds 100 lines of true resolution because they use the same CCD. Because of this, the images may have more noise and suffer in image quality.
I’m going on vacation in a few weeks, so this camera will definitely be used!
