I’m catching up on my GeekBrief TV. And in one episode, I found the next toy I want to get! The Quik Pod! I’m a photo nut, so this gadget would be wonderful for me! I would never have to ask a stranger to help me take a photo again. :)

    Hey guys! You should check out XSHOT (www.xshotpix.com). I’ve seen Quikpod, but I bought XSHOT. It is a much better product, because it has a super reach of 37 inches for perfect pictures. I was able to fit 6 friends in a photo. And btw, they have a promo code, but you need to email them at promo@xshotpix.com.

    the quik pod is the king. xshot will bend out of shape, can’t be used for overhead shots and is dangerous in crowds. i bought my quik pod at ces and have used it all over the world. http://www.quikpod.com

    Quik Pod now extends 53″ with the new DSLR model. There’s another company with a product but it broke the first time I tried it and the camera spins around. Quik Pod was designed by an expert and the other looks like a basement project.

    I bot the quikpod on qvc or hsn about 8 months ago. I bot two of them (one for gift). I used it maybe 4 times and the camera kept twisting around (2 heavy). I tried to tighten it and the plastic nut broke off. Now what? not happy.

    I bought the Pro 3 months ago, great product to use with my compact digital camera.
    Great idea for cheap product, I was not expecting to get better product for this amount of money.
    I’m getting lots of questions from people “where did you get it” and stuff..
